Exploration is the name of the game, from the dark depths of the Forgotten Ruins and the verdant vistas of Azeos’ Wilderness all the way to the salty waters of the Sunken Sea and the glistening treasures of the Shimmering Frontier! Surprises await around every corner, but beware, danger lurks in the shadows. Titan bosses dominate the underground and it’s up to you to collect their souls to power up The Core. You’ll need to upgrade your gear, collect skill points, and unlock talents in order to tackle these behemoths; each more powerful than the last. Crafting the right armour, weapons, potions, and accessories could be the difference between life and death in the underground. Don’t worry though, death isn’t permanent, but you’ll need to go back to your gravestone to collect lost loot. Gathering resources may be a challenge at first, but you’ll soon discover the wonders of farming, fishing, and raising cattle. All of which yield ingredients that can be combined in the Cooking Pot to make delicious recipes that satiate your hunger and offer unique buffs! With over 2,000 recipes to discover, it pays to spend a little time experimenting. Cooking ingredients are just one of the uses for cattle, as many also drop crafting materials needed to make functional (and fashionable) armour and decorative items! It pays to keep these adorable creatures close by. Speaking of adorable, cattle aren’t the only useful creatures in Core Keeper. You’ll likely come across an interesting looking egg or two on your travels. Pop ‘em in the incubator, and you’ll have hatched a new best friend in no time! There are over 10 pets to discover, in multiple colour combinations, and they make for the perfect partners in combat. As you forge your path through the underground, you’ll find the materials you need to build bases where you can rest, recover, and craft to your heart’s content. You can even make your bases into homes with the Painter and Carpenter’s Tables to craft endless decorations in a vibrant array of colours. Whether you’re building a cosy cottage to come home to after a long day of exploration or a practical pit-stop to store loot and heal in, there’s something for everyone in Core Keeper – including a Creative Mode where the only limit is your imagination! You’ll know you’re getting accustomed to life in the underground when you unlock automations using the Electronics Table. This crafting station can be used to create all manner of equipment from levers, circuits, and generators to pressure plates, dynamite packs, and more! With the right setup you can automate things like mining and farming – you can even get creative and use it to gather resources from mobs.
