Monopoly Party retains a familiar play pattern with new game rules and 3D graphics to make the classic game faster, livelier, and more entertaining than ever. The key innovation is same-time play, which allows every player to move at once, so there's never a dull moment. But there are also a few different themes to play around with to make things more interesting, or to tailor the aesthetic to your own whims. If you want to play on another planet, then go there. If you want to surround yourself with prehistoric animals and maybe put some property down on Dinosaur Drive, then you can. Your chosen environments are presented in 3D, like the game board itself. So, Monopoly - the board game we all know and many of us love - plus Party - everything happening at once, and with the PS2's assurance of no cheating - equals a pretty good time for you and your family and friends.
